Israel's football league office unveiled the 2026/27 Premier League schedule on Wednesday at a festive event, while the World Cup is still underway and Israeli football will return in about a month. The draw set reigning champion Hapoel Be'er Sheva to begin the season away at Hapoel Haifa.
The headline matchup of the opening round will be Hapoel Tel Aviv against Beitar Jerusalem. Maccabi Tel Aviv, hoping for a better campaign, will start away at Hapoel Jerusalem in Teddy Stadium.
The Tel Aviv derby is scheduled for the fourth round, with Maccabi Tel Aviv hosting it. The season's top clash between the champion and the runner-up will close the first half of the campaign in Round 13.
Before league play begins, the 2026/27 season will open with the Super Cup, in which Hapoel Be'er Sheva will host cup holder Maccabi Tel Aviv at Turner Stadium on July 12. Toto Cup matches will start four days later, on July 25, and the Premier League kickoff is expected on August 22.
