Former Minister Kahlon Announces Retirement from Politics

Former Minister of Communications, Construction, and Housing, Ayoob Kara, announced on Sunday that he will not be running in the upcoming elections. He expressed disappointment, saying, "I did not find a framework with the necessary determination." Kara, who previously served as a minister under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, had been seeking a political home after his previous ministerial role concluded. He had reportedly been in talks with Bennett's Yamina party, hoping to find a significant position that would allow him to pursue his policy goals.
