Iranian Leader's London Penthouses Listed for Sale Near Israeli Embassy

NEWSru Israel
Translated & summarized from NEWSru Israel by baba
The story · English

Two luxury London apartments, reportedly owned by Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, have been put on the market. The properties are officially registered under Iranian businessman Ali Ansari, who is under U.S. sanctions, according to a journalistic investigation by the Sunday Times. The apartments are located in the upscale Kensington district of the British capital, near Kensington Palace and the Israeli Embassy.

One of the properties is a 400-square-meter duplex penthouse with five bedrooms. It was purchased in 2016 for 19 million pounds and is now listed for 12 million pounds. The second apartment in the same building was acquired for over 16 million pounds.

Real estate agencies Knight Frank and Sotheby's International Realty are handling the sale, describing the penthouse in promotional materials as "unrivaled views of Kensington Gardens" in one of London's most prestigious locations.
