Assaf Haralap Succeeds Father as Chairman of Israel's Kalmobile

The board of directors of Kalmobile, a leading Israeli automotive group, has approved the appointment of Assaf Haralap as its new chairman. He succeeds his late father, Dr. Shmuel Haralap, who passed away last month. Assaf Haralap joined Kalmobile in 2006 and has held various leadership roles within the company, serving as an active board member in recent years. Since 2020, he has been involved in a structured succession plan with his father, working closely with the board, management, and company partners both domestically and internationally.

"I want to thank from the bottom of my heart the company's management, employees, partners, and colleagues for their support during these difficult days since we lost my father," Assaf Haralap stated following his appointment. He further expressed his gratitude to the board for their trust, calling it "a tremendous privilege and responsibility" to lead Kalmobile. He pledged to continue driving the company to new heights alongside management, partners, and employees, while upholding the company's core values.
