Assaf Haralap Appointed Chairman of Kalilmovil Auto Group

The board of directors of Kalilmovil, a major Israeli automotive group, has approved the appointment of Assaf Haralap as its new chairman. He succeeds his late father, Dr. Shmuel Haralap, who passed away last month. Assaf Haralap has been with Kalilmovil since 2006, holding various management positions and serving as an active director in recent years. Since 2020, he has worked closely with his father on a planned leadership transition, collaborating with the company's board, management, and international partners.

Kalilmovil represents numerous car brands and operates in Israel and abroad, with additional interests in energy, recycling, and real estate. In a statement, Assaf Haralap expressed gratitude for the support he has received during this difficult time and thanked the board for their trust. He pledged to lead Kalilmovil to new heights alongside the management, partners, and employees, while upholding the company's core values.
