Pinsk Karlin Rebbe Leads First Penitential Prayers

The Grand Rabbi of Pinsk Karlin led the first penitential prayers of the season on Saturday night at the Hasidic center in Jerusalem's Beit Yisrael neighborhood. The prayers, known as "Slichot," mark the beginning of the High Holy Days period.

Following the prayers, the Rebbe instructed the congregation to recite Psalms for the complete recovery of the Grand Rabbi of Vizhnitz. The Vizhnitz Rebbe has been ill, and the Pinsk Karlin community is praying for his healing.

After the ceremony concluded, Hasidim approached the Rebbe to receive his blessings.
