Ajax Player Oscar Gloukh Criticized for Poor Performance

Gloukh, who started the game, was substituted in the 54th minute after failing to make a significant impact. The Dutch ESPN commentator, Vincent Schildkamp, heavily criticized Gloukh's performance during the live broadcast, particularly highlighting a defensive lapse in the 27th minute that allowed Sergiño Dest to easily advance, leading to a scoring chance for PSV. Schildkamp stated that Gloukh seemed to be giving up and indicated to his teammates that he couldn't keep up with Dest's pace, adding, "Gloukh simply doesn't have the lungs to keep up with Dest all evening."

Ajax fans also expressed their frustration on social media, with many calling for Gloukh's removal from the game and labeling him one of the worst players they have seen at the club. Amidst Gloukh's struggles, fans began demanding that 17-year-old talent Abdallah Ezzaltouni, who has recently impressed, be given a chance in the lineup.
