The commander of the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan police station, Lt. Cmdr. Yuval Shavit, was filmed tearing a protester’s pants and dragging him after the man blocked Route 4.
According to the report, the protest ended with eight people lightly injured and five arrests. Police later said the closed stretch of Route 4, between the Morasha Interchange and the Aluf Sadeh Interchange, had been reopened in both directions.
Police also said traffic was still congested on Route 4 from the Holon Interchange northbound.
