Iran Reportedly Plans Coordinated Attack Against Israel With Hamas, Hezbollah

Multiple Israeli assessments, as reported by Arab media, suggest Iran is working to orchestrate a synchronized offensive against Israel. This potential attack would involve Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas, the Houthi rebels in Yemen, and pro-Iranian militias in Iraq. The primary goal appears to be avoiding the lack of coordination that characterized the October 7, 2023, attack.

Such an operation would aim to apply coordinated military pressure on Israel from its northern, southern, and eastern borders, thereby complicating the Israeli military's response. Reports indicate Iran is actively working to re-establish coordination mechanisms among its allied groups.

The Israeli military has reportedly identified a resurgence of contact between Hamas and Hezbollah, facilitated by Iranian advisors. According to an Israeli military assessment, these two organizations have begun to increase their coordination to simultaneously escalate pressure on Israel from both Gaza and Lebanon.

Officials from Iran's Revolutionary Guards have allegedly held discussions with leaders from Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Iraqi militias. Two Iranian officers stated that during a previous period of calm, members of the Quds Force participated in conference calls with the leaders of these various groups. Furthermore, Iranian advisors are said to be continuing their work with these groups on the ground.
