IDF Interceptor Fired at Own Forces in Gaza; No Casualties Reported
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Tuesday evening that an interceptor missile was launched towards a target identified as friendly fire within the Gaza Strip. The incident occurred shortly before the announcement.
No soldiers were harmed as a result of the friendly fire or the subsequent interceptor launch. The IDF stated that the event is currently under investigation and is being thoroughly reviewed.
