Two men were seriously wounded in two separate shooting incidents within hours of each other. On Wednesday morning, a man in his 20s was badly hurt in a violent incident near Moshav Livnim in the Upper Galilee. Magen David Adom medics treated him at the scene and evacuated him to Northern-Poriya Hospital, along with another man who was lightly injured.
Several hours earlier, overnight, a 55-year-old man was seriously wounded in a shooting in Kafr Qasim. Magen David Adom medics said he was conscious but had severe penetrating injuries. Paramedics Hassan Massarwa Ayyad and Dord from Baraqa said, “We saw the injured man conscious and suffering from severe penetrating injuries to his body. We provided life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him to the hospital in serious condition.” He was taken to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba.
The article also notes two fatal shootings over the weekend, both described as criminally motivated. On the night between Friday and Saturday, Imad Agbariya, 51, from Musheirifa in Ma'ale Iron, died of his wounds after a bomb attached to his car exploded near a village in Wadi Ara. His wife, who was with him in the car, was hospitalized. A few hours earlier, Majed Sabih, 25, was shot dead in Kafr Qanna in the Lower Galilee after arriving at a local clinic with penetrating gunshot wounds and being transferred to the Italian Hospital in Nazareth.
Magen David Adom said the first call about the Musheirifa attack came at around 5:00 p.m., when emergency teams found a burning vehicle and evacuated Agbariya and his wife. Doctors later declared him dead after trying to save him, while Sabih died during the night after treatment efforts failed.
