Fire Near Gush Etzion Settlement Prompts Evacuations
Over ten firefighting teams are currently battling a blaze near the settlement of Giva'ot in the Gush Etzion region. Authorities have initiated the evacuation of the first line of homes as a precautionary measure due to the advancing flames. Firefighting aircraft are also deployed, assisting ground crews in their efforts to contain and extinguish the fire.
The Gush Etzion settlement bloc is located in the southern West Bank, south of Jerusalem. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and the extent of the damage is currently unknown. Firefighting operations are ongoing.
