Nirלט Extends Sponsorship of Gaza Envelope Basketball Club
Nirלט, a leading Israeli paint company and part of the Inrom Group, announced on Friday the extension of its sponsorship agreement with the "Gaza Envelope" (Otef Drom) basketball club, which competes in the National League. This renewed partnership signifies Nirלט's ongoing commitment to the region, where it has operated for years, and its support for the basketball club founded to bolster the resilience of residents in the Gaza Envelope communities through sports.
The "Gaza Envelope" club was established after the October 7th Hamas attacks by the Israel Basketball Association, the "Thikoma" administration, and the Eshkol Regional Council. Its aim is to provide a sports and community framework for residents of the area, fostering a sense of belonging, strength, and a return to routine.
This sponsorship extension holds particular significance for Nirלט, as its factory in Kibbutz Nir Oz was destroyed and rendered inoperable during the October 7th attacks. The company has since relocated its operations to an alternative site while continuing to develop and engage in initiatives that support the community and the region where it has a long history.
Recent company research indicates a significant rise in preference and purchase intent for Nirלט products, particularly its Aquanir wall paint series, among professionals and consumers in Israel.
