After a decade-long absence, Ben & Jerry's beloved 'Chubby Hubby' ice cream flavor is making a permanent comeback to Israeli freezers. The return was decided through an extensive online voting campaign where hundreds of thousands of consumers cast their ballots.

The campaign narrowed down dozens of discontinued flavors to five finalists, with 'Chubby Hubby' ultimately securing the most votes. This iconic flavor features vanilla ice cream mixed with peanut butter-covered pretzel pieces and fudge chunks, along with peanut butter and fudge swirls, creating a popular sweet and salty combination.

'Chubby Hubby' has a unique origin story, stemming from an employee prank where two workers convinced a colleague that a flavor combining all his favorite foods existed. Ben & Jerry's embraced the idea, transforming the prank into a real product.

This comeback marks a permanent return, unlike previous limited-time appearances of the flavor, including a brief return in late 2016. Consumers can expect to find 'Chubby Hubby' regularly available in supermarkets and retail stores for approximately 24.50 shekels.
