TV Host Moshik Galamin Sells Possessions for Global Journey

Interior designer and television host Moshik Galamin revealed in an interview on the program "16:00 in the Morning" that he decided to halt his life, sell all his possessions, and embark on an extended journey around the world. Galamin explained that a series of personal tragedies, including the death of his father and a close friend, along with a friend's near-fatal heart attack, led him to a breaking point.

He also expressed fatigue with consumer culture and social media, describing it as "capitalism, what's happening on my phone, and the 'look-at-me' culture." This disillusionment prompted him to take drastic action: he gave away everything he had accumulated over the years, calling his belongings a "museum" that he completely dismantled. "I decided I didn't want anything, I donated everything and was left with nothing. Then I decided it was a good time to go on a journey," he stated.

Host Yael Bar Zohar noted that many wondered about Galamin's whereabouts over the past year after he left his job, home, and all his belongings. During his travels, Galamin visited numerous countries across the globe, including Greece, Portugal, Montenegro, Albania, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, the USA, and the Caribbean, in his search for peace, simplicity, and a new path.
