MK Maoz Pledges Support for Teachers at Start of School Year

Avi Maoz, chairman of the Noam party and a Member of Knesset, addressed teachers on the first day of the school year, assuring them of his support. He stated that the reforms he aims to advance would prioritize the status of teachers and the teaching profession.

Maoz outlined his reform plan, which includes reducing class sizes, integrating advanced technologies, and improving working conditions and salaries. He emphasized that the quality of the education system is directly linked to the conditions teachers receive, asserting, "If we want better students, we must give teachers better conditions."

The MK further pledged to work towards restoring respect and authority to teachers, enhancing their ability to effectively educate students. He concluded his remarks by wishing teachers a successful academic year and reiterating his commitment, "I see you. I have not forgotten you. And I will fight for you."
