Suspect Arrested in Connection with Violent Riots in Palestinian Village
Israeli police, the Shin Bet security agency, and the Samaria Border Police arrested a suspect on Thursday in connection with a violent assault that occurred last Saturday in the Palestinian village of Qusra. The suspect, a 19-year-old from the Samaria region, was taken for questioning, and authorities are expected to seek an extension of his detention. Dozens of Jewish rioters participated in the attack, reportedly barricading themselves inside a Palestinian home where Palestinian residents were present. They then hurled stones at Palestinians and Israeli civilians.
Reports indicate that several Palestinians were injured during the incident, including a woman who sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was evacuated by the Red Crescent for medical treatment.
