Oren Chason Departs Hapoel Tel Aviv Basketball Club After Brief Stint
Oren Chason has concluded his tenure as the CEO of Hapoel Tel Aviv's basketball club after just one week in the position. Chason, who had previously served as the club's chairman for two months starting in late June, was appointed CEO approximately ten days ago. His departure marks a total tenure of just over two months with the club.
Hapoel Tel Aviv issued a statement confirming Chason's exit. "Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv Basketball Club announces that the club's CEO, Oren Chason, has finished his role. The club thanks Oren for his work and wishes him much success in his future endeavors. Until a permanent CEO is appointed, the club will be managed by the club's chairman, Stav Shaham," the statement read.
Chason brings extensive experience in the sports world, particularly in football. Previously, he held positions as the chairman of the Football Association, chairman of the Football League Management, and CEO of the League Management.
