Prominent Rabbi Israel Meir Fadida Dies Suddenly in Bnei Brak
Rabbi Israel Meir Yosef Fadida, a prominent rabbinical figure and supervisor of the "Otzrot HaTorah" yeshiva, has passed away in Bnei Brak. He was 68 years old.
Rabbi Fadida collapsed at his home a short while before his death. Emergency medical responders attempted to save his life, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
He was known as a leading figure in the "Or Gaon" institutions and was a devoted student of Rabbi Boruch Mordechai Ezrachi. Rabbi Fadida was credited with educating thousands of students throughout his career.
