Prominent Rabbi Israel Meir Fadida Dies Suddenly in Bnei Brak

Rabbi Israel Meir Yosef Fadida, a prominent figure in the Haredi community and the Mashgiach (spiritual supervisor) of the "Otzrot HaTorah" yeshiva, has passed away suddenly at the age of 50. He collapsed at his home in Bnei Brak on Wednesday. Emergency medical teams responded rapidly and performed extensive resuscitation efforts. He was transported to Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center while undergoing CPR, but doctors were ultimately unable to save his life.

Rabbi Fadida was known as a leading student of Rabbi Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi, the late Rosh Yeshiva of 'Ateret Yisrael'. For decades, he dedicated himself to teaching Torah and disseminating its values, influencing thousands of students. He was also a key leader of the "Or Gaon" institutions.
