Netanyahu’s Cross-Examination in Corruption Trial Ends After Months of Hearings
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cross-examination in his trial ended on Tuesday after months of hearings and dozens of sessions at the Tel Aviv District Court. His defense team will now conduct a redirect examination, during which they may ask him to address issues raised during the cross-examination.
The redirect is expected to last only a few days. After that, Netanyahu’s testimony in the trial is expected to conclude, and the defense will continue presenting its witnesses.
Netanyahu began testifying in December 2024, and his cross-examination started in June 2025. His testimony has focused on the three cases in which he is charged, known as Cases 1000, 2000 and 4000.
