Hundreds of Children Greet Rabbi Yitzchak Zilberstein on Shabbat Eve in Bnei Brak

Hundreds of children from the Mishnah study group "Mivkhei Torah - Mishnat Yehuda" in the Kiryat Herzog neighborhood came dressed in Shabbat clothes to greet Rabbi Yitzchak Zilberstein as he arrived for Kabbalat Shabbat at the central synagogue in Ramat Elhanan, Bnei Brak. The visit took place on Friday evening, just before Shabbat.

Rabbi Zilberstein devoted his regular class, given between Kabbalat Shabbat and Maariv, entirely to the children, who study chapters of Mishnah every Tuesday through their learning group. He encouraged them warmly and told them, "You are saving the Jewish nation, with your study of Mishnah you are protecting the entire world, the enemies of Israel will not be able to overcome us because of you!"

After the evening prayer, the rabbi remained for a long time to bless each child individually with a Shabbat greeting as they passed before him one by one. The event was documented in photos from the scene.
