KRUPS Launches Ultra-Slim 15cm Coffee Machine in Israel

KRUPS has introduced its new Coffee Crush automatic coffee machine in Israel, distributed by Newpan. The machine's standout feature is its exceptionally narrow 15 cm width, designed for kitchens with limited space. Despite its compact size, it includes a built-in grinder for fresh beans and can also use pre-ground coffee, allowing for options like decaffeinated brews without altering grinder settings. The Coffee Crush offers five coffee recipes and operates with a one-touch system for ease of use, alongside an automatic self-cleaning function.

This launch coincides with shifts in Israeli coffee consumption habits. According to Newpan, the Israeli coffee market is valued at approximately 3.5 billion shekels, with the average Israeli consuming 3.3 to 3.5 cups daily. The company notes a decline in capsule coffee machine sales and a growing consumer preference for fresh bean coffee. "Consumers today are looking for quality, freshness, and the true taste of bean coffee, but they are not willing to give up convenience and want a compact and easy-to-use solution," stated Ido Shani, Vice President of Marketing at Newpan.

The KRUPS Coffee Crush is initially available in one color in Israel, with plans for additional options later. It is priced at 1,490 shekels and will be sold in major electronics retailers and specialty stores across the country.
