Six Draft Dodgers Apprehended at Ben Gurion Airport Attempting to Flee Israel
Six individuals attempting to leave Israel were apprehended by security teams at Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) on Tuesday. The travelers were stopped as they tried to depart the country.
Following their detention, the six were transferred to the Population and Immigration Authority for further processing. During the examination, it was discovered that all six were subject to military conscription orders, which prohibit their departure from Israel.
According to the Airport Authority, two of the individuals were intercepted at Terminal 1, while the other four were stopped at Terminal 3. The Population and Immigration Authority confirmed that the individuals are required to enlist and that existing conscription orders prevent them from leaving the country.
