Six Draft-Evading Travelers Apprehended at Ben Gurion Airport
Security teams at Ben Gurion Airport apprehended six individuals attempting to leave Israel illegally, as they were subject to military conscription orders. The travelers were intercepted across both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 of the airport. Two were caught at Terminal 1, while the other four were detained at Terminal 3.
Following their detention, the six individuals were transferred to the Population and Immigration Authority. Investigations revealed that active conscription orders were in place against them, legally prohibiting their departure from the country. The authorities are now processing these cases in accordance with military service regulations.
