Antonio ספר Returns to Israeli Premier League with Bnei Sakhnin Loan Deal
Antonio ספר, a midfielder, is set to return to Israel's top football league, the Premier League, joining Bnei Sakhnin on loan from newly relegated club Bnei Raina. This move follows initial interest from Maccabi Petah Tikva and Bnei Sakhnin earlier in the summer, but Raina had initially refused to release the player. Raina has now agreed to let ספר return to the top flight, which will also free up budget space for them to sign new players. ספר previously played for Hapoel Be'er Sheva in the 2023-2024 season before moving to Bnei Raina for the 2025-2026 season. In his Premier League career, the 26-year-old Romanian has made 54 appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing 11 assists. His arrival at Bnei Sakhnin is expected to facilitate the departure of Angolan player Norberto Carlos, who signed with the club this summer.
