Antonio Späth Nears Return to Israeli Premier League

Antonio Späth is reportedly on the verge of returning to the Israeli Premier League, with his current club, Bnei Reineh, expected to allow him to leave on loan. Späth's decision to remain with Reineh after their relegation this summer raised eyebrows, especially after both Maccabi Petah Tikva and Bnei Sakhnin expressed interest in signing him. Reineh initially refused to release the player.

However, sources indicate that the club will now facilitate Späth's departure, as he wishes to return to the top flight. His exit would also free up significant budget space for Reineh to sign one or two key players.

Bnei Sakhnin has previously shown interest in acquiring Späth and may look to terminate the contract of Norberto Carlos, an Angolan player they signed this summer, to make room for him. It is anticipated that other clubs will also compete for the midfielder's signature.

Späth previously starred for Hapoel Be'er Sheva and was instrumental in their success. Last season, however, his performance for Reineh was hampered by a quadriceps injury, which contributed to the team's inability to avoid relegation.
