Antonio Späth Nears Return to Israeli Premier League

Antonio Späth is reportedly on his way back to the Israeli Premier League, with a loan move from Bnei Reineh expected soon. Späth's decision to remain with Bnei Reineh after their relegation this summer raised eyebrows, especially after both Maccabi Petah Tikva and Bnei Sakhnin expressed interest in signing him. Reineh initially refused to release the player.

However, sources indicate that the club will now allow Späth to leave, as he wishes to return to the top flight. His departure would also free up significant budget space for Reineh to acquire one or two key players. Bnei Sakhnin, who previously showed interest, are reportedly keen to sign Späth and may look to terminate the contract of Angolan player Norberto Carlos, who joined them this summer.

It is estimated that other clubs besides Sakhnin will also attempt to sign the midfielder. Späth previously starred for Hapoel Be'er Sheva and struggled to help Reineh avoid relegation last season, largely due to a quadriceps injury.
