Maccabi Haifa set to lock in Stiefman and Grimberg on new deals

Maccabi Haifa is expected to announce on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, that it has extended the contracts of two of its top prospects, Noam Stiefman and Adam Grimberg. Both players will sign long-term deals, with the club viewing them as important pieces for the first team in the coming years.

Stiefman, 18, stands 1.95 meters tall and made a strong impression with the senior side and in Haifa’s youth team’s UEFA Youth League campaign. He made five starts and three substitute appearances. He joined the club at age 8 and came up through the training complex at Kiryat Eliezer.

Grimberg is 16 and is considered one of Israel’s biggest young talents. This season he played in the Under-16 league, the youth Premier League and the senior Premier League, scoring 13 goals in total. He started three matches for the senior team and appeared in four more, but an injury limited his minutes in the playoff stage.

Grimberg arrived at Maccabi Haifa’s Carmel setup two years ago from Hapoel Tel Aviv and is expected to be fit for the start of next season. Before this move, Haifa also secured long-term contracts for Navot Ratner, Yinon Feingzich, Elad Amir, Niv Gabai, Mark Golenkov and Liam Luski.
