Israeli Special Forces Arrest Terror Suspect in Secret West Bank Operation
Israeli special forces from the counter-terrorism unit YAMAM conducted a covert operation in the West Bank city of Nablus (Shchem) on Monday night, arresting a 37-year-old wanted individual. Security forces stated the suspect was previously affiliated with the "Lion's Den" terror group. The operation was carried out based on intelligence from the Shin Bet security agency.
According to a joint statement from the police and the IDF, the suspect was sought for arrest due to his past involvement with the "Lion's Den" organization in Nablus, which security forces dismantled in 2022. Israeli security officials claim that throughout the period, the suspect actively worked to advance terror activities and attempted to carry out attacks against Israeli civilians.
Following the intelligence gathering, YAMAM forces prepared for the arrest.
