Israeli Forces Arrest Terror Suspect Linked to Lion's Den in Nablus
Israeli special forces, the Yamam, arrested a wanted Palestinian man in the West Bank city of Nablus (Shchem) overnight between Sunday and Monday. The 37-year-old suspect is accused of involvement in terrorist activities and was previously affiliated with the Lion's Den terror group, which Israeli security forces dismantled in 2022. According to police and army statements, the suspect was sought since his past involvement with the Nablus-based organization and had been working to advance terror activities and plan attacks against Israeli citizens.
Following intelligence gathering, the Yamam forces planned and executed the arrest. They reportedly surprised the suspect by conducting a covert and clandestine operation at his home. The suspect has been transferred to the Shin Bet for further investigation. Israeli forces sustained no casualties during the operation.
