Arabs Poison Livestock, Attack Herders in West Bank for Second Time This Week

A group of Arabs from the village of al-Mughayyir infiltrated a farm in the Benjamin region of the West Bank on Sunday, spreading deadly poison in a water trough. Three goats died and others were severely affected. When local shepherds and residents arrived to provide urgent veterinary care, they were attacked with stones by dozens of Arab assailants from the village who had been lying in wait.

Israeli forces responded to the scene, repelling the attackers and initiating a widespread search for the perpetrators. Reports from the village indicated that three assailants were injured by security forces' fire during the attack on the shepherds. This incident marks the second poisoning of livestock in the area near the Alon Road within the past week and the tenth such attack since the beginning of the year.

Farmers expressed concern over the boldness of the attackers, who have not yet been apprehended, and warned that this recurring pattern could potentially lead to human casualties.
