Poisoning Attack on Israeli Farm Leaves Goats Dead, Herders Attacked

A poisoning incident occurred on Sunday in the Benjamin region, near the Alon Road, when assailants from the Palestinian village of al-Moei'er infiltrated grazing lands belonging to a farm. The attackers scattered a deadly poison, concealed within the animals' drinking troughs. Herders arriving to water their flock witnessed goats immediately exhibiting severe poisoning symptoms, including foaming at the mouth and convulsions. Three goats have died so far, with efforts underway to save others in critical condition.

Residents from nearby farms rushed to provide emergency veterinary treatment with antidotes but were met with a barrage of stones thrown by dozens of rioters from the village who had ambushed the area. The rioters also advanced towards the herders, hindering rescue efforts. IDF forces were dispatched to the scene and repelled the rioters back towards the village. Extensive searches are underway to apprehend the poisoning perpetrators.

Reports from the village indicate that three rioters were injured by security forces' fire during their attack on the herders. This marks the second such poisoning incident in the grazing areas near Alon Road within the past week and the tenth this year. Farm residents expressed concern over the escalating boldness of the uncaptured group, warning that this "pattern of operation is constant and dangerous and could cost human lives."
