Israeli Shepherd Brutally Attacked and Livestock Stolen Near Benjamin Region

A severe security incident occurred on Thursday near the Benjamin region, specifically at the Baal Hatzor farm close to the settlement of Ofra. According to initial reports by Channel 14 correspondent Eliya Aviv, a Jewish shepherd was ambushed by militants while tending his flock. The attackers reportedly assaulted him violently with an iron rod, striking his head and body until he lost consciousness. Following the assault, the militants stole his flock and fled the scene, leaving the shepherd severely injured and unconscious on the ground.

Large forces from the military and police are currently en route to the site and have launched extensive searches throughout the Benjamin area to track down the perpetrators. As of now, no suspects have been apprehended, and the stolen livestock has not yet been recovered. The incident has raised concerns due to its brutality and the ongoing security challenges in the region.
