Nine-Year-Old Girl Injured in Pedestrian Accident in Givat Eden

A nine-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle while walking on HaYarkon Street in Givat Eden, sustaining a head injury. Emergency medical teams from United Hatzalah responded to the scene and provided initial treatment.

The child was then transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital for further medical evaluation and care. Her condition has been described as moderate.

According to United Hatzalah, the girl was a pedestrian at the time of the incident. Dr. Baruch Tzofin, a volunteer physician with United Hatzalah, along with paramedics Shai Yiskol and Zvi Harris, administered first aid at the scene before her transfer to the hospital. The incident highlights the ongoing issue of road accidents, with pedestrians, including children, being among those affected.
