Girl, 11, Injured in Car Accident in Beit Shemesh
An 11-year-old girl was hospitalized in moderate condition after being struck by a private vehicle in Beit Shemesh on Monday. Emergency medical responders from MDA and the Hatzalah volunteer organization were dispatched to Menachem Porush Street in Ramat Beit Shemesh following reports of a traffic accident.
Upon arrival, volunteers found the girl suffering from head and limb injuries. Medical teams provided initial treatment, including stopping bleeding, stabilizing her condition, and bandaging her wounds. She was then transferred to a mobile intensive care unit.
The ambulance transported the girl to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, where she was admitted to the trauma unit for further care. The circumstances of the accident are under investigation.
