11-Year-Old Girl Critically Injured in Beit Shemesh Vehicle Collision
An 11-year-old girl was struck by a private vehicle on Menachem Porush Street in Ramat Beit Shemesh on Tuesday, sustaining moderate injuries. The incident occurred while the child was on the street, and she suffered head and limb trauma.
Emergency medical responders from Magen David Adom (MDA) and the "Tzevet Hatzala" organization were dispatched to the scene. Initial medical treatment was provided by Yehoshua Gottlieb and Meir Fried, volunteers from Tzevet Hatzala, who arrived in an MDA ambulance. They reported finding the girl with injuries to multiple body parts.
Medical teams worked to stop bleeding, stabilize affected areas, and dress wounds to prepare her for transport. A mobile intensive care unit from MDA joined the efforts, and the child was transferred for further medical evaluation and treatment.
Her condition was classified as moderate, and she was evacuated to the trauma room at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, where she will undergo further tests and receive treatment for her injuries. MDA paramedics and EMTs also participated in the on-scene treatment and evacuation preparations.
