The Israeli Shin Bet security agency has officially confirmed that Yair Netanyahu, son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, faced a significant threat while residing in the Miami area, prompting a rapid operational decision to evacuate him back to Israel. This move followed intelligence reports of Iranian intentions to harm him, including covert surveillance near his residence in Hallandale Beach, Florida.

Prime Minister Netanyahu publicly revealed the threat in an interview, stating that Iran had targeted one of his sons.
