Israeli Man Assaulted by Prison Service Officer's Sister and Friends Over Parking Dispute in Kfar Yona

Tohar Amit David, 24, from Kfar Yona, was violently attacked on Sunday by the sister of a Prison Service officer and two of her friends using clubs, following a parking dispute. The police investigation led to an indictment against the three assailants, while the officer was questioned and released. David told ynet he has not returned home since the incident, describing it as traumatic.

David recounted that the conflict began hours before the attack when he returned from work and witnessed the officer taking a parking spot he was about to use. He confronted her briefly but did not expect the situation to escalate. Later that evening, while driving to meet a friend in Ra'anana, he noticed a car following him, which then escalated into a violent confrontation upon his return to Kfar Yona.

The attackers blocked his car and assaulted him, causing head injuries and severe pain. During the attack, they reportedly said, "You tried to take the parking spot from the wrong woman." David is currently suffering from anxiety and insomnia, requiring medication. He expressed concern about how the assailants knew his identity and whereabouts.

His lawyers, Shlomi Malka and Romach Shavit, described the assault as a serious, premeditated act of violence that could have had worse consequences. They welcomed the indictment and the arrest of the suspects, emphasizing their commitment to ensuring David's rights are protected throughout the legal process. David hopes the officer will be fired and also face charges.

The case highlights tensions in the community and raises questions about the behavior of a Prison Service officer and her family members in a violent dispute over parking.
