Three Women Assault Man in Kfar Yona Over Parking Dispute Involving Prison Service Officer

In Kfar Yona, 25-year-old Tohar David was violently attacked by three women following a parking dispute involving a Prison Service officer. The incident occurred near midnight on Sunday and was captured by shocked bystanders. David was beaten with bats and an iron rod, resulting in head injuries and bleeding, and was hospitalized at Meir Medical Center.

The three women, all in their twenties and residents of Kfar Yona, assaulted David without any prior acquaintance between them. After the attack, they also smashed the windows of David's car. Neighbors who witnessed the violence called the police for assistance. David recounted that the attack began after a car blocked him, and three women emerged wielding bats. He was fortunate to have a friend filming the assault, as he feared no one would believe his account otherwise.

Police arrested the three women, and during interrogation, one claimed the attack was retaliation for a dispute David had with her sister, a Prison Service officer, over parking. She alleged David insulted and humiliated her sister, prompting the assault. David denied threatening or cursing anyone, stating the argument was only about parking.

A criminal indictment was filed against the three women for assault, causing injury, and intentional harm. The investigating unit requested to extend their detention. David's lawyer, Shlomi Malka, described his client as a victim of a severe and premeditated violent attack that could have had graver consequences. The Prison Service officer involved was questioned under caution on suspicion of ordering the attack, which she denied, and was placed under house arrest pending further decisions on possible charges.
