Zotshka Rebbe Leads Fiery Dance at Son’s Wedding Celebration
Hundreds of Hasidim gathered to celebrate the wedding of the youngest son of the Zotshka Rebbe, grandson of the Shatz Rebbe. The bride is the daughter of Rabbi Yehoshua Heshel Tversky, son of Rabbi Yaakov Mordechai Tversky, the Av Beit Din of Tchernobil Elad, and the groom is the son-in-law of the Biala Yashri Lev Rebbe. The joyous event featured dozens of melodies, both uplifting and celebratory, drawn from the rich repertoire of the Zotshka Rebbe, including both new and traditional tunes.
Before the mitzvah dance, the Rebbe delivered words of inspiration and preparation for the dance, which was sung in rhymes to the new melody "Echad Sha’alti." The crowd responded with deep devotion, singing along passionately. The highlight was the mitzvah dance itself, where the Rebbe danced with intense fervor to the tune "U’varuch Shem Kevodo." Following this, he danced enthusiastically to the "Echad Yachid" melody, a tradition from Nadvorna Hasidim. The event was extensively documented in photos by Shuki Lerer.
