Zotshka Hasidim Celebrate Grand Wedding with New Melodies and Emotional Prayers

Hundreds of Hasidim and supporters of the Zotshka community gathered last weekend for a joyous Shabbat celebration marking the upcoming wedding of the eldest son of the Zotshka Rebbe. The event included the traditional 'Oferif' and 'Parshpil' festivities held in a sacred atmosphere. The bride is the daughter of Rabbi Yehoshua Ashel Tversky, and the groom is the son of Rabbi Yaakov Mordechai Tversky, the Av Beit Din of Chernobyl Elad, and son-in-law of the Rebbe of Biala Yashri Lev.

During the Shabbat table on Friday night, the Zotshka Rebbe introduced two new melodies he composed: an inspiring tune based on the words "Echad Sha'alti" in preparation for the Days of Awe, and a joyful melody created just hours earlier that same Shabbat. The emotional peak of the weekend came during the "Reua Derawin" prayer, when the Rebbe played several of his compositions and delivered a heartfelt, tearful speech encouraging spiritual preparation for the month of Elul and offering special blessings to the groom.

As Shabbat ended, musical instruments were brought in to accompany the 'Parshpil' celebration with drums and dancing, attended by Rabbi Yaakov Mordechai Tversky. The Rebbe led an enthusiastic dance, followed by evening prayers and Havdalah, then headed the community in a large public Kiddush Levana ceremony. The wedding itself is scheduled for Tuesday at the 'Heichalei Malchut' halls in Bnei Brak, with many Rebbes, rabbis, and thousands of Hasidim expected to attend.
