Zotshka Rebbe's Grandson Celebrates Bar Mitzvah at New Bnei Brak Synagogue

On the night of the 24th of Av, a bar mitzvah celebration was held for the grandson of the Zotshka Rebbe, who is also the son-in-law of the Satmar Rebbe and son of Rabbi Naftali Tzvi Motzen, the Zotshka dayan and son of Rabbi Ephraim Fishel Motzen, the chief rabbi of Kiryat HaBeasht. The event took place at the large new Zotshka synagogue in Bnei Brak, marking the first joyous occasion in this new holy residence under the leadership of the Rebbe.

The celebration was emotionally charged among the Hasidim, with the appearance of the grandfathers, the Zotshka Rebbe and the Kiryat HaBeasht chief rabbi, alongside the bar mitzvah boy. Shortly after, the Satmar Rebbe also arrived. Many Satmar Hasidim from Bnei Brak, led by the senior Satmar Rebbe, attended the event dressed in Shabbat attire and participated for over an hour.

Upon the Satmar Rebbe's arrival, the Zotshka Rebbe was honored and seated next to the bar mitzvah boy, who then recited the traditional "pashatel" at length without interruption. This was followed by the mitzvah dance. The event also included the presence of several prominent rabbis and community leaders, such as the Amshna Zotshka Rebbe, Rabbi Elimelech Biderman, Rabbi Eliezer David Shapira (Av Beit Din of Satmar Bnei Brak), Rabbi Avraham Halberstam (Av Beit Din of Satmar Tiberias), Rabbi Meir Moshe Halberstam, Rabbi Yechezkel Drubmediker (rabbi of the Bayan community in Modi'in Illit), Rabbi Avraham Tzvi Cohen (rabbi of the Hasidim in Shikun Hei), Rabbi Shlomo Saltzman (rabbi of Neve Yarak), Rabbi Naftali Tzvi Leifer (rabbi of the Satmar synagogue on Rav Ashi Street in Bnei Brak), Rabbi Eliezer Niyhoz (Dayan of Vizhnitz), among others.
