Two Men Killed in Separate Traffic Accidents in Northern Israel Overnight

Two fatal traffic accidents occurred in northern Israel between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. The first incident happened near Rabbi Ovadia Yosef Street in Hadera on Highway 4, where 25-year-old Alaa Kabha from Umm al-Qutuf in Wadi Ara died after slipping while riding his motorcycle. Emergency responders found him unconscious with severe head trauma and performed prolonged resuscitation efforts before he was pronounced dead at the hospital. The accident was reported to Magen David Adom (MDA) at 02:07.

The second fatality involved a man in his 60s from Tayibe who was struck and killed by a truck early Thursday morning. MDA received the report at 06:40. Paramedic Karam Araki described the victim as unconscious with multiple severe injuries and declared him dead at the scene.

Additionally, a serious accident occurred Wednesday night near the Yakum interchange on Highway 2 in the Sharon region. A man in his 60s was critically injured when his vehicle apparently overturned. Emergency teams found him semi-conscious with severe injuries and provided life-saving treatment before transporting him to the hospital in serious condition. This accident was reported to MDA at 23:16.

These incidents highlight ongoing road safety challenges in the region, with emergency services responding promptly but unable to save two victims overnight.
