Lod District Court Judge Michael Kershen issued a ruling on an administrative petition involving the Elad Municipality during Shabbat, about an hour and a half before it ended. The petition was filed by city council member Yitzhak Halla and concerns claims of improper administration and lack of transparency. The municipality has so far not filed a formal complaint, and the judicial authority said the ruling was technical and may have been issued by mistake.
