Residents near Beit Lid in the Sharon region braced Wednesday for a large Haredi protest that could shut roads and disrupt traffic until 9:00 p.m. Shas spokesman Asher Medina said the draft-avoidance bill supported by Benjamin Netanyahu would protect only Haredi draft evaders, not secular ones.
