Sweden’s parliament passed a law allowing residence permits to be revoked over misconduct such as unpaid debts, undeclared work, tax evasion and extremist ties. Lawmakers also approved a separate reporting rule for many public-sector workers, both measures drawing sharp criticism from rights groups and the opposition.
