Miki Berkovich is a revered figure in Israeli sports history, having been discovered at age 11 and rising to prominence with Maccabi Tel Aviv by 17. He led the team to its first European Champions Cup victory in 1977 and earned numerous accolades, including MVP of the 1979 European Championship and an NBA offer. Over a 16-season career, he won 16 league titles and 13 state cups, later playing for other Israeli teams before retiring as the league's second-highest scorer.
