Annual Checkups, AI and Minimally Invasive Surgery Transform Women’s Health

Professor Uri Dior, head of the gynecology department at Hadassah and a specialist in advanced gynecological surgery, discussed on Channel 7’s medicine podcast how new technologies and artificial intelligence are changing women’s health. The episode focused on innovation in care, preventive medicine, early detection and the growing role of technology in diagnosis and treatment.

Dior explained that laparoscopic surgery allows complex procedures to be done through tiny incisions. He said this approach reduces pain, shortens recovery time and improves medical outcomes, while making operations that were once considered highly complex safer and more precise.
