Gadi Eizenkot Rejects Mansour Abbas's Call for Palestinian State Recognition
Gadi Eizenkot, chairman of the Yisrael party, responded to Mansour Abbas, leader of the Ra'am party, by firmly stating on X that there is no Palestinian state and that no Palestinian state will be established in any government they form. Earlier the same day, Mansour Abbas declared at a Ra'am conference that the State of Palestine exists and is recognized by most of the world except the United States and Israel. Abbas emphasized their desire for these two countries to recognize Palestine and expressed commitment to achieving peace, reconciliation, and an end to occupation and conflict.
